The title and general idea has been inspired by a frequently recommended reference guide "How to Catch an Artist (A Writer’s Guide, by an Artist)" that focuses on visual art. I cannot speak for all people who create podfic, guarantee that these thoughts will help in any fandom event other than the After Camlann Big Bang, or promise that a writer will 100% catch a podficcer. Some podficcers may also contribute cover art, chapter headings, scene break art, or other art that makes visual information useful when taking part in a fandom event, but this is being written for the auditory specific considerations.
